Kim & Darlene Unrau have been married for over 36 years - happily for 35  :-) and have loved sharing life with three incredible sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and two amazing grandchildren. They are learning to communicate, manage conflict, prefer one another and laugh till it hurts. They love kayaking, SUP boarding, sailing, droning, hammocks and traveling.

 

Their work history includes pastoring for 30 years in many different contexts across Canada - both large and small including church planting. Presently, the Unraus are having the time of their life working with Living Stones Network  - a group of simple, reproducible house churches. Over the years, they've also enjoyed multiple speaking and training opportunities on 6 continents.

Kim took his decades of pastoral counselling experience along with his Bachelor's degree in Theology to start his company, Inspired Life Training, offering coaching to individuals, couples and families.  On weekends, and in several diverse cultural contexts, Kim, with Darlene, has facilitated interactive Gottman Marriage Workshops.

​

With a Masters in Christian Education, majoring in counselling from Talbot Theological Seminary, Darlene brings a

passion to see youth and young adults in strong and healthy relationships, rooted in trust and mutual respect.  

Today, she is the Community Education Coordinator of True To You, based out of Okanagan Valley Pregnancy Care Centre in Kelowna, BC, Canada. Darlene has had incredible opportunities in providing presentations to students from grade 5 to university in schools and organizations, both public and private, in North America and overseas.  

 

Our son, Matthew, activated making Radical Relationships available online with a combined birthday gift of a podcast microphone and an offer to get the whole idea off the ground. His business degree and passion for making a significant difference in the world makes him very good at motivating others - even his parents.  His relationship with Jesus, his wife Sadie, and little Sullivan & Winnifred motivate him to give life his best.
